The Foundation

The Foundation of Privy Councillor Vilhelm Jørgensen was established in 1962.

The purpose of the Foundation was to build a Student Hall and support its residents.

In connection with of the new "Technical University of Denmark", the student Hall “Viggo Jarls Kollegium” was opened in memory of the son to the founder Viggo Jarl.

The Foundation has through the years applied its income to enlarge and renovate the Hall, as well as the running and maintaining it.
